Pioneering education in Nuclear reactor physics and safety
GRE@T-PIONEeR is a Euratom project that will develop specialised education and training resources for post-graduate students in reactor physics and safety. The aim is to create an alliance aimed at teaching advanced and specialised reactor physics and nuclear reactor safety while making use of synergies between the different consortium members.
The project will offer materials that will allow students to fully comprehend topics related to the physics, modelling and safety of nuclear reactors, with an emphasis on nuclear cores. By following the courses and hands-on training sessions, the students will be able to perform nuclear reactor safety simulations and understand all the calculations behind these simulations.

Innovating Physics Pedagogy: Lessons from Great-Pioneer’s Flipped Classroom in Hybrid and Online Modes
Join Great-Pioneer for an inspiring lunch-to-lunch seminar showcasing innovative pedagogy in Engineering Education! Lessons from Great-Pioneer’s Flipped Classroom in Hybrid and Online Modes – delve into the intricacies of course structure and organization, and critically analyze the effectiveness of teaching methods in fostering student engagement and participation. Some parts of the seminar will be arranged interactively so that the participants can brainstorm and receive guidance on how to adapt and apply similar methods in their own engineering and educational fields.
