24 October 2022 – 28 October 2022The ENEEP Course “Train the Students” is devoted to detectors and their applications in nuclear science and technology. In the course, the basic operating principles of various neutron and gamma detector types will be presented and measurements will be performed using radiation sources or the core of the JSI TRIGA reactor as an intense source of neutron and gamma radiation. The participants will gain knowledge and practical experience with detectors of different types, widely used in the nuclear field (detection in nuclear environments, research, radiation protection) and in nuclear reactors themselves (in-core and ex-core instrumentation).
